The bottom has a core of 4.06 mm thick aluminum sandwiched between two sheets of stainless steel, ensures uniform heating, stays flat, and never bulges.

The Hawkins Stainless Steel pressure cooker body and lid are made from food-grade, 18/8, non-magnetic, High Handed stainless steel (AISI Grade 304). It is hence one of the best quality stainless steel quality used for making cooking utensils.

5.8 mm Extra-thick, Heat-diffusing Sandwich Bottom.

The pressure cooker Body and Lid are made of food-grade, superior stainless steel for maximum hygiene and durability. On the outside bottom of the pressure cooker, sandwiched between two sheets of stainless steel, is a core of 4.1 mm thick aluminum, which spreads heat quickly and evenly.

The Hawkins Pressure-Locked Safety lid.

The unique Hawkins Pressure-Locked Safety lid ensures that when there is pressure inside the cooker. It cannot be opened until the pressure has fallen to a safe level.

The Hawkins Stainless Steel TPan is offered in two sizes 1 Litre and 1.5 Litre. The 1 Litre is ideal for making 4 cups of tea at a time (each cup about 150 ml). The 1.5 Litre is ideal for making 6 cups of tea at a time. Both sizes are offered with a glass lid, or without the lid.

It can be used on all domestic gas, electric, halogen, ceramic and induction cooktops.
